Welcome to Quinta do Sanguinhal

This beautiful modern rustic hillside home, offers two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom.

The master bedroom with its ocean view, is equiped with a queen size bed, a three piece private wahsroom and a walk in closet.

The house offers two other washrooms: a 4 piece and a 2 piece.

The livingroom faces the ocean and is equipped with leather sofas, fireplace, tv and surround sound system with radio and usb entrance and aux.

 

    

The dining room, also with ocean views, features a custom made wood table that seats ten people.

The kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster.

There is also a laundry room with washer, dryer, sink , iron and ironing table for your conveniece.

Tile floor throuhgout the house except for the bedrooms which are hardwood

The house offers a garage with automatic door and direct access to the interior of the house.

There is a 23m by 3m terrace facing the ocean and an outdoor grill, a traditional wood oven and a bonfire.
Access to the property is through a gravel road, thus a four wheel drive vehicle is recomended.

The entire house is one floor and is wheelchair accessible.

Outdoor pets are allowed and the house offers two outdoor kennels.
This unique enclosed property, features extraordinary mountain and ocean views. 

    

You will be marvelled by the breathtaking sunrises and the extraordinary view of nothing but the Atlantic in front of you. 

Because it is situated away form the town, it offers a very peacefull and quiet atmosphere where nature can be viewed, herd and enjoyed.

Besides the wide variety of activities that the island has to offer, there are many activities to engage in during your stay at Quinta do Sanguinhal.

This part of the island offers a wide variety of beautiful trails. Guided tours can be provided by your hosts.

There is also an 18 hole Golf course 35 minutes away. Campo de Golf das Furnas, ranked 2nd best in Portugal. Host will accompany guests if requested.

Home made meals can also be made available if requested.

Guests will have access to a fruit orchard and to a sea side cottage.

Seasonal fruits and vegetables are available for picking.

Guests will have access to a variety of farm life activities like for example goat milking, chicken and pig feeding and agricultural chores.

Upon arrival, guests will be offered a basket of in season, local grown vegetables and fruit.
